Highly prized in Japan and often used in conjunction with Yuzu. The small green is the symbol of the prefecture (province or state) of Tokushima, Japan where the majority of the fruit is cultivated. The flavor is zestier than a lemon or lime. Slices of the fruit are served with many Japanese dishes and the juice is used to make drinks and combined with alcoholic beverages. It is also thought to have many health benefits. Limited supplies available.
